Registrations Open For North Sea Regatta Week 2017

Registrations Open For North Sea Regatta Week 2017

There is going to be lots of excitement and some serious racing at the North Sea Regatta Week 2017. The registration for this event is open now and there will be three races conducted during the course of the week.

The event kicks off with the Vuurschepenrace Race that will be held on May 27, 2017, from Scheveningen to Harwich. This race will be followed by the RORC North Sea race that will be held on May 30. After the offshore races are complete, the organizers will then shift focus to inshore races that starts from 2nd June.

The registrations for the North Sea Regatta inshore races and the Vuurschepenrace race can be done through Manage2Sail that supports these events, which have also been supported by a Yacht Charter in Trogir company. The RORC North Sea regatta event registrations will be done the traditional way through the RORC system. Breaking from the tradition of hosting the race on Monday, this year there will be no race conducted on Monday.

There is a possibility for the teams to take part in the Competition Cruising Class. The organizers are making things very easy for the racers this time round. They will only be conducting one race a day. This means that the racers need not have to spend a long time on the water and also do not have to get up early to race.

There is no doubt that many of the sailors will be happy with this new format thought by the organizers. There is no need for sailors have the official rating certificate as results are based on the SW rating. The weeklong event gives the racers to charter a boat with friends and enjoy cruising.

The North Sea Regatta has also roped in Helly Hansen back as its partner for the racing event. There is no better sailing event to be held in Holland than the North Sea Regatta Week.
