Join us once again for a very special Sunset Sail, discussion and sampling of everybody's favorite beverage and complimentary paired desserts and appetizers!
Howard Bard, a resident of Anna Maria Island and brewing enthusiast, will
happily educate guests about the distinctive qualities of his beers. Historic Cortez and Anna Maria Island will serve as a unique background for this event, as guests enjoy a spectacular Sunset Sail
while sampling delicious beer and delicious home-made appetizers & desserts paired to each brew!
Cost is $50 for the sail - the beer, appetizers and desserts are FREE!

Sunset / Full Moon Rise
 
March 7, 2012- $45pp
Departs 5:30PM from Bradenton
Full Worm Moon – March As the temperature begins to warm and the ground begins to thaw, earthworm casts appear, heralding the return of the robins. The more northern tribes knew this Moon as the Full Crow Moon, when the cawing of crows signaled the end of winter; or the Full Crust Moon, because the snow cover becomes crusted from thawing by day and freezing at night. The Full Sap Moon, marking the time of tapping maple trees, is another variation. To the settlers, it was also known as the Lenten Moon, and was considered to be the last full Moon of winter.

Departs from Twin Dolphin Marina in Bradenton at 5pm.
Join us and our partners- The Anna Maria General Store for a special Wine Sampling Sunset Sail.
We are offering a sampling from Montebello Vineyards of California including the following:
Sangue Di Giuda (red, slightly chilled sweet wine)
Barbera (dry, red)
Pinot Grigio (sweet white w/ hints of peaches and apples)
Paired with some delicious appetizers this is a most splendid Sunset Sail along the beautiful Manatee River on our beautiful sailing catamaran!
Reservations are required.

Extremely wide at 23 ft- combined with their 41ft length, our catamarans provide a flat, stable, easy ride. No hanging on, no leaning and no getting wet. Ample covered bridgedecks with convertible roll down windows have plenty of seating and a tables for serving. The forward bridgedeck and trampolines get you out on the "Magic Carpet"- in the fresh air and sunlight, listening to wind and water gliding by. Each is equipped with two full size bathrooms and galley and are USCG certified and inspected. Her Captains hold USCG Master Licenses and Advanced ASA Sailing Instructor credentials with years of sailing experience.
Built in Maine our vessels have complete state of the art electronics and safety equipment. Their galleys are fully equipped including deep freeze and refrigeration. Each has a full size interior shower and exterior stern shower, and carries a tender with plenty of water toys. Both are completely fitted out for either a daysail or a week long vacation in style, comfort and safety.

Memorial Sails / Ash Scatterings
We often receive requests for Ash Scatterings and Memorial Sails for loved ones. In a word- Yes- we do offer those services and have performed many such trips over the years. The crews of our catamarans can take your family and friends out to sea and help you legally scatter your loved ones ashes. You will receive our memorial documentation and we file the required EPA document so that your loved ones final resting place is logged, legal and memorialized. Our fees for this service are $195 over our standard charter rates. Whether solemn or celebratory, our vessels are stable and comfortable, friendly and functional. Please give us a call to discuss this most personal of matters.
